Default Length of control arms with PR44?

I am getting a Pro rock 44 unlimited housing and upper and lower terflex adjustable control arms. Does anyone know what lengths i should start with on the arms? I have read that 23" is good on the lowers but does it change with the PR? Thanks guy's!

The unlimited housing is caster/pinion corrected for the lift. You can start with the lengths you have now, but it just depends on your setup and what caster you want to run.

I have the terflex 2.5" spring lift for a 4 door, and it will have a 1" spacer in the front. i guess i will have them set it up close to stock and then when i get it back ill mess with my alignment.

If you install an Unlimited PR44 with the control arms at the same length they are currently installed you will have the same pinion angle you have now. Your caster angle, however, will be changed by 4*. This may be perfect, it may not, it depends on how your rig is currently configured.

On a stock height JK with a stock housing the caster is 4* and the pinion angle is 2*. Usually when you lift a JK you want to rotate the pinion to get a better DS angle. This is done at the expense of the caster angle. You can easily set your new pinion angle with an angle finder. You should get an alignnent to ensure that your control arms are adjusted properly and your axle is fitted squarely in the rig.

The stock housing has 6 degrees of separation (pinion up 2* and caster the opposite direction 4* = 6*). The Unlimited housing has 10* of separation. This means that with your new housing installed and your pinion angle set at 5*, your caster will be at 5*.

Ok well I will have them set it up and then I will do the alignment at work when I get it back. I know they will have to do the alignment after they put it all back together but they will probably try to put it at stock numbers knowing the dealership. Wish I could do it all my self.

Here was my setup with a RockKrawler 3.5" mid arm and PR44.

Pinion angle is pretty good but not great. I had to close my lower control arms all the way in and I still have 10 deg of castor. The 3.5" mid arm kit only came with lowers. I have a set of RK uppers coming to get me back to the 6-7 deg I like. At 6-7 the pinion angle will be spot on, well in my situation.

I asked this same question and never got a response. On my rig, 23" lowers and 18" uppers were perfect.
