Default lets talk about headers

There seems to be 2 or 3 different discount header options out on eBay. I've done a header on lots of previous cars and they yieled much better gains than a catback or intake.

How does the JK respond to a header upgrade?

Looking to make my JK a little more peppier, by no means do I want it to be a race car, but a little quicker low end would be nice.

heard the jba headers were good. haven't tried any on my jk yet though. I put a header on my 97 tj and it was probably one of the best performance mods done to that vehicle. i hope the 3.8 responds just as well.

Was your 97 a 2.5 or 4.0?

I'm not just saying this because I own them. Everyone on this forum will tell you the Ripp headers are the only header that will produce any type of significant gain. Shorty headers do nothing. Besides maybe sound good and potentially melt spark plug wires.
