Default Leveling kit on 10th anni Rubicon?

I've been out of a jeep for 4 months and finally purchased a used 10th! I'm beyond exited but it needs new tires and I'm wanting to run a 285/70/17 on the stock wheels and also add a winch. My question is with the suspension on this edition do I need a leveling kit to prevent the front end from sagging? Could I get away with a 285/75/17 if I did choose to level it? I'm looking at the teraflex kit with the spacers and extended sway links. I'm also curious if the 285/75 would fit on the stock carrier thanks in advance!! It feels so good to be back again!!!

Welcome back and congrats on the Rubi, sweeeet!

I run the TF kit and same size tire on RR wheels. No problems on the carrier what so ever, been over a year and 35,000 km later. My wheel and tire package weights in at about 83lbs, which is more then the 75lbs of the stock Rubi wheel and tire.

TF kit levelled me and I have stock bumpers so I can't comment on sag. I have read the 10a coils are stiffest of them all... Guess it depends on added weight....with the level kit it might bring you back to stock height and rake.

I'm sure others will chime in with experience

Good luck

I have the ft coil spring leveling kit on my 08 with front winch bumper no sagging 2 year old kit. It rides better then stock springs. .

Running the TF leveling kit on my Rubi-X (10th Anni-twin) with Nitto TG 295/70/17 on the stock wheels and RoughCountry 1.5" wheel spacers. My opinion is it is the perfect daily driver setup for a Jeep that is going to see any highway action. The stance is great and you definitely gain some ground clearance without all the worries that come with going bigger.

TF leveling kit is cheap and relatively easy to install (suggest having a second person to help).
The greatest benefit, to me, was getting additional clearance for the oil pan, etc. Add slightly taller tires and you get even more.
I don't do boulder crawling, but there are some times when rocks can't be avoided and having that 1.5-2" of additional clearance brings peace of mind on the trail.

Yup, no problem. Fit nice and snug without any modification.
