Default Leveling kit... Do I need new shocks?

I'm leveling out my wrangler soon but I don't know how much extra travel is in the stock shocks. I mean... It wouldn't hurt to upgrade but would I really need to do it?

I wouldn't think so but it wouldn't hurt.. I'm currently running 2" bb without shocks.. No problems so far I have had it on my Jeep for like 3 months.. I have been told anything over a 2" lift you should.. You could always get shock extensions there like 30$ Good Luck

Default Nope

I installed the Leveling kit and installed stock Rubicon shocks. I have no problem and I would have ran the stock sahara shocks but got a killer deal on the Rubicons. You should have no problems with the stockers. Make sure to look at the posts on the install. There are a few tricks to the install that helped me out quite a bit. Good luck and your gonna love the results
