Leveling kit doesn't feel like enough any more, now what?!
The more I research it seems like I end up with an unsightly gap with the bumpers...
If I switch to 18/59s I should get almost another inch, is that accurate? i am thinking that would be the most oem looking option? If i was going to switch shocks for height purposes are these the ones everyone would recommend?
Sorry for all of the questions, i have no experience in suspensions.

With the teraflex body lift, you won't have any bad gaps. That happens when you go 2-3 inches of body lift. You will notice it in the rear around the bumper, but you can just re locate the bumper and your good!
Just remember, when you go higher than the leveling kit, your handling goes out of wack without a lot of extra parts. Track bar relocation/replacement, lca's or drop brackets, higher center of gravity. I am running the teraflex leveling kit, with Monroe reflex monotubes, plus lower control arms and my jeep drives great. I want a little extra space for my tires, so I am popping in the teraflex body lift, relocating my bumper and trailer hitch and callin er done. no change in suspension, handling etc, the heavy stuff is still low.
Kojack- I've upgraded to 2.5" coils and added just rear sway bar links and a rear track back bracket. It drives very well, I'm sure just as well as a stock vehicle. So you've narrowed down the couple of extra parts needed.
I can't see LCA brackets or drop control arm brackets doing anything more for me. Not saying they won't, I just don't see how it could be better.
I did pull the trigger on Rancho 5000x though the Monroe's were a contender. It's better than stock shocks but it's much too early to recommend anything.

I had to install lower control arms to get rid of the flighty steering. I am only running the tf leveling kit. But Adding the lowers got my caster better than stock so my jeep drives solid now. Everyone is different. I would probably get in your jeep and hate the steering. I like a weighted steering feel. I do not like light steering. Not to say your rig is dangerous, its just not my idea of great steering.
I am adding my new monroes on Monday. After 120,000 miles on them, time for a refresh. Best part, free because of warranty! Sweet!
You would find a night and day difference in handling with LCAs or brackets.

I was able to speak with Marcus from River City, he made is super simple. RK 1.5 coils all around and an adjustable front track bar.
Gives an additional 1.5 on top of the leveling kit thats already there and limits changing anything else. He mentioned 2.5 coils could add on to the alterations.
I think this is the best move considering the ride is absolutely terrible, especially with 20s and 33 trail grapplers, at this point I have gotten used to it since I changed wheels 800 miles in from off the lot. If I can gain any comfort with new coils that would be an added bonus the body lift wont provide.

Marcus has got it nailed down. I'd prefer a full coil but he's right that a smaller coil will limit the potential for problems. I'll have to ask why he's recommending the front adj track bar. My axle looks pretty well centered though with 2.5" coils it's likely to be off.
I don't have any preference on a track bar, there have been some issues with early model JKS bars if you go used.

I say get the kit you want. Don't worry about the Kids. They will grow up and learn how to climb. Believe me my kids love my Jeep and I have a 2 Door with 2 boys. I think the general consensus on here is 2.5" to 3.5" is good height increase with these you can run 35's, 37's or larger if you run metal cloak fenders.
