Default which lft

I sold one of my toys so I have some money to spend on a lift. I don't want to go too high, as I am only running 33s. But I plan on putting bumpers, front and rear (winch front). From all I have read on here, and the pics I've seen, a 2-3" lift is what I need and I plan on going with front ca and rear ca at least front trac bar just dont know whether to go ome or terraflex or Rock Krawler. I had a chance to stop by the rock krawler shop and see their product first hand and it looked real good to me, but I think it will be higher than I want to go( the guys at their shop were great and it was real cool to see the stuff being made)(Thanks Rock Krawler) . I wish I could see what the other companies stuff was like. Here in central NY it seems like no one is lifting JKs. I guess I am going to be the guinea pig. Just wonder if OME is really better than TF and why, is it the shocks? One thing, is anyone running the Rock Krawler on a 2dr? How much lift did you end up with?
Thanks

PS - My girlfriend says help me figure this out - she feels like a jeep widow!!!

I would say to call David at Northridge since he has a lot of experience with these two lifts. I know that I went with the Tera 2.5" spring lift because of the bumpers, and it is more complete than the OME for the money. I did get the shock extensions for now since I was told that the Tera shocks aren't worth the extra $200 and now I am saving up for some OME long travel shocks since they are supposed to be much nicer.

I've been reading for months trying to decide on a lift, if you do a search there are a ton of threads on the topic, teraflex is popular on here and is a nice kit. I've narrowed it down to Currie or Clayton. As said above, David at Northridge is very helpful.

If you want to see a 4 dr jk with our 3.5 lift we are doing 2 installs this week.

Feel free to stop by our shop anytime or call to check when we are working on these JK.

P.S. As far as the orginal question, a 2 inch lift should be enough. Our 3.5 lift with 33s will probably look a little off. Our 3.5 looks awesome with 35s and the 4.5 for 37s.

IMHO, the Old Man Emu lift with adjustable trackbars (just over $900 shipped from Northridge) cannot be beaten. Sure, you can go cheaper (e.g. BB), but if you want a suspension lift, not spacers (and a great ride I might add), OME is top notch in this price range.

One of my problems with picking a lift is I like to see and try stuff before I buy, I hate ordering something and when it comes its not what you thought it was or in my case finally get it and then see one of my other choices and find it was better. I'm really leaning towards OME with JKs ca , I wish I could ride a few jeeps with different lifts. I'm sure I'm not the only one going through this.

Loom into my gallery for the Clayton 3.5 inch lift on 33x12.5 tires. There really isn't that much difference between the clayton and currie lifts as they have the same greasable Johnny Joints which make this lift top notch not to mention the life no questions asked basically garuntee on the Adj. CA's. The only problem well not really a problem but more of in convience was that the lower ca's on the rear that bolt to the axle do not have grease points and with the bushings and going through mud/water/and dusty areas after a while they will tend to squeak abit. the kits is priced at $2050 through Dave at Northridge the last time I check and the only addition piece I purchased was the rear adj trackbar. due to the new drive shafts. (JEREEL CV 1310) front and rear. The lift is AWESOME and when you get it you will be surprised at how massive the ca's are compared to the stock ones. I do have a build page of pics here is the link for it.

I left it broke not sure if I can post it or not to be a direct link.

Default OME 2 dr Rubicon lift hd spings.

Spent 6 months researching lifts, finally went with OME HD springs netted 3.25 inches, got the whole kit. Clayton lowers in the front, track bars, ext brake lines lt shocks. Rides good (a bit firm!) once the bumpers/winch are installed should lower it a bit. Over all very good kit handles a bit better than stock good flex, so far happy with my choice.
