Default Licence plate mod

The latest casualty on the jeep during wheeling was the ugly plastic license plate holder. I recently saw a few TJs around with just their tags drilled into the corner of the jeeps. Decided this would be my first option before I go relocating it to the spare. I used two LEDs that I purchased on eBay for $7 and tapped them into the existing wiring going to the original license plate light. Here are the results. It does wrap around more than I saw on the TJs but I'm still happy with it. Also, I used rubber stickies on the back to prevent any vibration. I didn't take enough pics to do a complete write up but if anyone is interested I can answer your questions.

Very nice. If i would've seen this first I would've gone that route maybe. I like that it doesn't cover the lug brake lights. Any more pics of how the bracket looks before install?

No additional pics. But I can get some when I return home. It is black on a black wheel so it's hard to see the details.
