License plate mount?
Just installed new bumper & winch... So where the eff am I gonna mount my front license plate? Apparently it's the law in Cali to display a front & rear(and no, it's not legal to put it in the window). I've noticed a lot of people mount them to the caps/ends but I don't have those, nor do I want them(I like the stubby look). I also have seen fairlead license plate mounts, but mostly for the cable/wire roller kind... mine is synthetic and no place to clip the mount to. Any ideas?
So does ROC DOG FAB, this one 'plugs in' to the hawse opening.

I just drilled two holes in my Benchmark Elite front stubby and tapped the holes and my plate mounts just below the hawse fairlead. Solid and looks as good as it can with a plate on the bumper.

I just used two mag-lite holders attached into one of those cheap plastic license plate holders (got mine at pep boys) and they clip right into the winch rollers, I spent about $15
I'll post some pics as soon as I can find them

Here are a couple I found:
This one is really just to show off !!!

And a close up, you can see how the clips just snap perfectly into the rolls
