Easy he was just joking...adjustable track bars will let you recenter your axles after the lift, but with just a 2.5" spacer lift they wont be off center by much at all. Not enough to affect anything at least.
Start with the FAQ's up top. Great info on what components you will want for various lift heights, lift heights vs tire sizes, difference between bb and coil lifts, gearing, driveshaft recommendations, etc.

Since you have an Auto, take some preventative steps to help that driveshaft live a little longer.

Lifting a vehicle changes the caster, which causes flightyness/bumpsteer/etc. If you don't like the handling after the lift, read this one in the faq's:
After it's lifted, be sure to flex it and check your brake lines. If the lines are tight, and the kit did not come with brackets or new lines, fix it.
You want the front sway bar level. If the kit does not come with new links, get some new longer rear links, and move the stock rear links up front.
If the kit does not come with bumpstops, you may want to consider adding some to the front. The rears you can do any time, but the fronts go inside the coils so it saves a lot of effort if you install with the lift.
Trackbars at heights under 3" may not be needed, it's your preference. If having the axles off-center bugs you, or if it is setting off the esp, or if the front driveshaft is too close to the tranny pan when flexed - add one. If not, don't worry about it.
