Default Lift

I would like to know the highest I can lift my 08jk without replacing axles and what brand would be good for my first lift IE skyjacker rough country. I don't want a bb and just coils, anything is appreciated

Thanks

Axles? Maybe you meant driveshafts. In general, 2.5-3 inches. I'm on my phone so can't check out your profile. But the answer does vary by two door or four door, and auto or stick. As for brand, TF is really excellent (but so are many others).

You don't want a bb and just coils and how high can you go without replacing axles.
Have a 2ft custom body lift made , if it tips over, get wider axles.

Are you looking for a complete lift kit, long arm etc ? What are you planning on doing with your rig, green/blue trails or black/red trails ?

Green and blue trails, nothing too serious. I got a 2 door auto 08 jk. I'm not a stickler about stiffness or anything. I am just curious as to how much lift I can go without adding new drive shafts, just a lift kit lol. Sorry for my retardation. It's my first lift

I am just curious as to how much lift I can go without adding new drive shafts,
3" is the rule of thumb, but there is no magic number. There are other considerations in addition to lift height.

Rear driveshafts on 2doors are short, so they will be at steeper angles than 4doors.
The transmission pan and crossmember skidplate on auto's are close to the front driveshaft, so it is common to hit them both.
Long travel shocks let the axles droop further, so it is more likely to cause issues.
Disconnecting lets the axle droop further, so it is more likely to cause issues.
On-road only, driveshafts will last longer than lots of flexing offroad.

There are people losing shafts at 2.5" or less, and others are fine with 4". Just depends...
