Which Lift?
Howdy, I'm getting my "new to me" Jeep 4dr JK very shortly. It's a standard with a 1" BL already.
I'm putting 37" tires on 15" wheels on the jeep.
Still unsure on the lift. I don't have a lot of funds available to me.
It will be my DD. 45% highway, 45% city, 15% medium play. What gears would be optimal for me?
I've been looking at 10 different lifts. I know on some I need to buy extra parts. I'm just not sure which I should or should not (and why) look at.
I'm not WANTING to spend more than $2000 on my lift with needed accessories.
the list I have so far on lifts is:
3.5" Rough Country Series II Lift
4" Rough Country Susp. Lift
4" Rough Country X-Series Kit
6" Rough Country X-Series Kit
4" Full Traction Lift
3" Full Traction Lift
4" Teraflex JK
4.5" AEV DualSport SC (Out of my price range)
4" Zone Susp. Lift
4" Skyjacker Stand. Lift
4" Pro Comp Stage 1
4.5" Trail Master Lift
4" Currie Standard Lift
3.5" Rubicon Express Lift
Comparisons between lifts would be great.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you everyone.

45+45+15 = 105
You will have a hard time finding 15" wheels (that you like) that will fit the 37's and the JK without rubbing. Might have better luck with 16".
With Lifts you get what you pay for. (and there is no such thing as a complete kit)
At the height you are looking at 1k or less is not going to get you what you need.
You will also need to budget for a new front drive shaft and a new front axel if you do not have at least a D44 up front.
Gears would depend on what axles you have, what transmission you have and how far you are willing to push the gears without going to D60's.
You will also need to get something to reprogram your computer to deal with the larger tires and gear change.
My advice? Drive it like you bought it for now and do a lot of research to determine how much you actually want to invest for the long haul. If you don't take the time to know your Jeep before you start modding, then you will never be able to understand how the changes you make have affected it.
Have fun!

It is a Rubicon with the D44 axles.
And I'll be getting a new Front Drive shaft before I do any off-roading.
My Pro Comp Accu Pro will deal with the computer stuff.
My father has a stock JK Rubicon that I drove quite a bit while he was out of the country. It is just needing the Lift and accessories for me to be content.
I'll raise my alotted money up another $1000 to a total of $2000.
i must said go with the rough country 3.5 serie II come with pretty much all hardware its a 3.5 so you dont realy need front drive shaft if you keep you sway bar when wheeling and flexing but if you can get on in the futur can be great add on and get a ajustable track bar and you dont have to regear i still run my stock gear no rubicon and run 37 for year and half yeah its no torque but when you dont have alot of money is expensive upgrade
the rc 3.5 serie II as just come out about 2 week ago they got nitro charged shock coil correction plate front lower control arm and drop pitman arm soft coil spring and yes you can remove your sway bar link like I alway do and Me I totally remove my front sway bar go lot of flex but you need good bumpstop and the serie lI you got extension bumpstop front and rear ... like most of people said if you flexing hard with no sway bar the front drive shaft can rub on skid plate but personnaly never happen to me and got 4" lift and now its a 3.5
