Default Lift?

New to this site. Just picked up a 08 Jk. Looking to run 35 without braking the bank. I had trucks, but never a jeep. Looking for something clean and that will fit 35. It's a everyday drive so don't want to get all into gearing and stuff. Any thoughts on a kit? Thanks.

It really depends on what you want to do with it. I have an '11 JKU Rubicon and I installed a Teraflex leveling kit and 35x12.50R17 BFG KM2s. I also had to add 1.5" wheel spacers to keep from rubbing at full lock. Mine didn't rub anywhere on the street. When I got off road, It rubbed the fenders and pinch seam. I trimmed both of them but I haven't had time to check it out yet. Click image for larger version

You can run 35's with 2.5" of lift. The norm is 2.5 - 3.5".

As mentioned, a budget boost/spacer lift if the cheapest way to go. If you plan to wheel it, you will need a coil lift. Then it depends on what your budget and needs are. Rock Krawler and Teraflex make a lift for pretty much every budget.
