Default Lift advice

Im currently deployed at the moment and after much deliberation finally getting my build list together for my 2012 2dr JK Sport. Thought I would post up what Im planning going with and get some advice from you all, and if Im missing anything. Im currently running 33's and a small aev spacer lift, I dont do much in the way of rock crawling, mostly just local trails/ fire roads and when I hit the west coast a lot of desert driving.

Here's what Im looking at so far:

RK 2.5 Max travel kit

FOX Res shocks with compression adjustment

Trutracs front and rear w/4.56 gears

Axle sleeves and c gussets

OR-Fab swing away tire carrier w/rotopax mounts

Bushwacker flat flares

undecided on bumpstops, ideally like to go with kings or fox air bumps front and rear

limiting straps

Falken Wildpeak 325/80-16s

Method double standard 16x8 wheels

Anything else I might need? Thanks in advance!

unless you're planning on driving really hard and fast down a desert wash with big ruts or whoops, i might save your money and just stick with your factory bump stops. your fox shocks are pretty pricey and would think they would be enough to manage most of what you plan on using your jeep for just fine. likewise, limiting straps will totally be unnecessary unless you are running a set of coilovers that are set too long.

Thanks for the advice sir. For the longest time I was dead set on getting a set of speed bumps, but I have a hard time spending that much for foam in a can. I have a tendency to over build things, knowing while I may not utilize it now, I may later haha. Plus New Jersey roads suck, I bottom out all the time.

if you like to drive hard and fast and don't want to bottom out, coil overs are the way to go. the new evo mfg kit will set you back about $3500 but, they're totally worth it. if you don't drive hard and fast but still bottom out, your new coils and shocks should help out a lot.

Im actually really interested in the EVO kit as well, I emailed evo the other day asking about and what I would need to complete it. In all honestly it sounds like the better way to go for me, the list I had above was kind of a plan B incase this kit never materialized.

EVO MFG has a nice Enforcer kit thats a great back up to the Coilover system. It comes with King Shocks with several options,. Internal or External reservoirs along with compression adjustment. We have the King Shocks valved specifically for our coils. This will give you the best ride on the road and the best flex offroad.

I looked at that kit as well, looks really well thought out. I'm on your website literally everyday hoping maybe the bolt on coilover kit was released haha. My bank account is gonna hate me.

at bare minimum, i would recommend that you get front lower control arms, rear uppers, their draglink flip/front track bar relocation bracket and rear track bar relocation bracket. longer brake lines and longer sway bar links are a must and, if you have a 2-door, a new rear drive shaft, if you have an 07-11 auto, a new front drive shaft and, if you a 12, a new front drive shaft regardless of what transmission you have. i'm sure evo can help put a package together for you.
