Default lift advice

I will soon (hopefully) have a 4 door rubi. She is getting a heavy front bumper/winch as well as a heavy rear bumper/tire carrier. I want to run 35s (17x8-4.5BS wheels). I would like to avoid spring spacers if possible.

My question is, assuming half an inch drop, both front and back, what is the minimum lift I should look at (lots of off-road)? Thinking 3.5”.

Any 3 inch coil lift will work imo, and by the time you have to level that lift out with coil leveling spacers, you are gonna be above 3 inches anyways, at least on front. Personally I went with Rustys 3.25 lift, dont have it on yet, but the pictures I have seen, it doesnt look any higher than any 3 inch lift. And as far as clearnace, there is plenty of guys running 35s on 2.5 budget boost lifts, so you have plenty of room with that 3 even with added weight front and back. Any other doubts you have should be put to rest knowing there is 1/2 to 3/4 coil leveling spacers to use afterwards on top of coil lift to achieve exactly what you want.
