Default Lift and alignment ?

I picked up a teraflex leveling/minimal lift kit (the one with 4 1" spacers for front and 2 1" spacers rear, w/extended sway links), anyway the directions say to align it when done, What say you? who has not done an alignment and had no issues? (and just a note, reason doing this kit is so if need to take it in for warranty work can put back to stock in no time, but still have some extra performance capability for first 3 years.)

With such minimal changes to the vehicle an alignment is not necessary. The front toe angle will not change. However your steering wheel may be slightly off to one side. This can be corrected very easily by adjusting the drag link until the wheel is straight again. Again this will not change the front toe so you wont have to worry about uneven tire wear as long as your current toe angle is correct.

Here's a DIY link for a front end alignment

Project-JK.com - Jeep JK Wrangler Resource » Basic Do-it-Yourself Jeep JK Wrangler Front End Alignment

Without an adjustable track bar or adjustable control arms, there's not much an alignment shop can do that you can easily/cheaply do yourself. With that said you can only straighten your steering wheel and adjust your toe-in/out. If you are running 33s usually adjusting the toe is not needed. If you are going to run 35s some have adjusted the toe. For me it was not needed and the Jeep drove great and tires wore evenly...
