Default Lift Choice.

Having a hard time figuring out lifts, every time i think i have it figured out i find something else that changes my mind. just looking on some advice. right now its between a TF 2.5" coil with a 1" PA body lift, and a 4" RC lift. seems like the 3-4" range is what im looking at. dont want to get into driveline issues. but want enough lift to run 35" with no rub.( not a huge fan of the trimed fenders)
i have a 2009 6 speed x . what do you guys think or suggest?

You are much less likely to run into driveshaft issues with this:

TF 2.5" coil with a 1" PA body lift

Than with this:

4" RC lift

If stock driveshafts are the selling point, the choice is pretty clear.

(and even with the TF 2.5, with an 'actual' lift height in the 3-3.5" range, you could still find yourself needing at least one new shaft...)

Check out this thread for some info as well. I thought i had it all figured out until I put up this thread.

By the time the conversation was over I had settled on the TeraFlex 2.5" Coil with the adjustable arms to roll 35s.

I actually sold my 2 door and am now rolling a 2010 4 door so the rules are slightly different. I am still going to go with TeraFlex as they offer excellent customer service and I have yet to read anything negative about their products.

Cheers,

I would check into Old Man Emu. Great all around quality lift, allows 35's, and drives awesome as a daily driver. No drive line mods required other than poss adj. trac bars.
