Default Lift Comparison

Ok Ive posted Lift questions before, about the ome lift which i fitted to my 2 door rubi, and was not happy with the results so ive gone looking for more lift with other kits, Im looking at The Teraflex 4'' suspension Part Number: 001451400 and Full traction 4" "Premium" Lift System with M-Force Shocks Part Number: FTS7125M which of these is the better of the two kits... Any feedback is welcomed... If possible can i see pics from both lifts. Thanks all once again your help is greatly appreciated

What was wrong with the OME kit? Just out of curiosity....

WOL is using a full traction kit, and I'm pretty sure he like it. It's probably the ultimate though....

That's because SL's are not meant to clear larger tires, that's what a BL is for...unless you like giving up uptravel/articulation to get longer bumpstops, etc.

The only thing SL's do is raise your ride height.

For people who don't really off road, maybe do some fire trails, etc...they may get away with mall crawlers solutions...as they never stuff the tires.

If you actually off road enough to call it off roading....you stuff the tires, and need stuffage room.

As the tires will rise to the same point with or without an SL...if they hit w/o an SL, they'll hit WITH an SL (Unless you've sold your uptravel to the devil, etc...)

Eventually, if you lift high enough, it takes so much to stuff the tires, that larger tires rarely get fully stuffed, and thelonger coils may not let you compress more anyway....so it becomes a Plan B, etc....the stuffage may be rare enough to call it a happy compromise, and live with it, etc.
