Default Lift Feedback

Ok I am looking for feedback on what is the best 3" lift. I am planning on running 35" MT Baja Claws and want to hear from you all with you experiences.

May consider a 4" if it dont require alot of extra mods. As I have read you need to change the rear drive shaft?

Thanks everyone!!

It depends what you want to do to determine the best lift for you. I have the old man emu coils and shocks. They perform very well offroad and ride good offroad. I have no rockkrawler stuff on my jeep, but have couple of friends that do and I will be purchasing their long arm upgrade. Very good quality.

I have a Teraflex 2.5" lift, with 1" Teraflex coil spacers on top of the coils, and a MORE 1" body lift. Running 35" KM2's. Works for me! All I needed to add was an adjustable front trackbar.

Ours rides like stock. It's our "Family Jeep" My wife drives it daily with no problems. I think keeping the suspension lift mild, and adding a BL keeps the "domino effect" of lifting to a minimum.

If you want a stock ride, you're not going to do much better (particularly considering the cost) than a 2.5" BB from TeraFlex.

It's the kit I started with, it's very well executed and comprehensive, and will give you enough lift to run up to 35" tires - and you should be fine with stock drive trains, a real plus in the cost department.

Four inches of lift for the sake of 4" of lift is -to be blunt- not such a keen idea. Why raise your COG that much if you don't need the room for 37s?

I will check out the teraflex and I agree the 4" will end up more cost and issues than I want.

I have been very interested in the Rock Krawler 3.5" kit. It is as well fully upgradeable! Check it out.
