Default Lift Height

Hey jk-forum

So i recently came to learn that my lift was actually for a 2dr JK not a JKU. I picked up a RC 2.5 in lift from a local shop and found out it was the wrong one after a year. I'm getting ready to upgrade to the RK flex kit with their coils, mid-arms and the whole shabang. How ever ive been up in the air if I want 2.5 or 3.5. I'm not going to ask which one to go with. What my question is if anyone has the measurement from center of the tire to top of fenders for either 2.5 in system or 3.5 in system so i can compare it off of what I already have. I've searched up and down google and this forum and haven't found an answer yet.

Thank you for any help.

EDIT:
I currently do have 315/70/17 tires on it. Also I am aware of other parts needed for a lift greater then 2.5". Tom Wood will be getting an order once either one of the lifts are installed.

Since the weights of various peoples builds will vary, you might just ballpark it at 3" for the 2.5" coils and 4" for the 3.5" coils.

Stock flares, chopped, flats? If you have chopped flares or flats, the 2.5" coils will be fine. Stock flares with no plans of changing, or swapping to 37's in the future, or just like taller lifts, then consider the 3.5". (a bunch of people here will tell you to go 2.5", I say get the 3.5"! )

I have trimmed stock flares I hope to one day throw some 37s once I get another DD and a prorock44. I figure I'm doing it over again might as well build it right the second time with 3.5.

Hmm.. I would have thought people would have given up their measurement. Not like it's related to ones penis......

35 - 6.5 = 28.5 ?

And just to show the gap with 37x12.50 Falkens.

Here is a thread showing the stock curb height measurements for the various JK models.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/stoc...ements-297499/

There isn't a lot of difference among them.
