Default lift help/suggestions

okay its time i need some suggestions from the pro's. i have a 07 jk 2 door i think x type stock. gears idk . i bought a rockkrawler 2.5 lift with out shocks it came with springs, rear traction bar and front traction bar bracket. anyways i need shocks so i.m going to buy ELKA. im going to put the order in sometime this week and i have some questions.

1. do i buy the 2.5 lift shocks
2. can i buy the 3-4 inch lift shocks because i plan on putting spacers or ACOS but not right now.
3. anything else i would need.

as of now i'm leaving the stock treads i have 35 super swamper's but those are not going on anytime soon
appreciate any advice

Hi, make sure you install your ACOS straight away as if you bought 4-6" ELKA's the shock travel is not suitable for the 2.5" rockcrawler lift.

I have a 2.5" TF coil lift with ELKA's for 2.5" lift, drives beautifully !

If it will be a while before you add the spacers, consider some extra bumpstop so you don't over-compress your brand new shocks and blow them out.

thanks for the input i went with 2.5 elkas and not acos spacer i live "rite near da beach boi" and couldnt wait to hit up the dunes so thats why.
