Default Lift Kit

Can I install a Teraflex 2.5 Lift kit and still run my factory wheels and tires till I am able to afford my aftermarket wheels and tires?

Sure unless you run factory tires with larger wheels you might need wheel adapters.

I'd say tires and wheels first.

Lift isn't necessary unless your looking to go above 35s. It helps, but some trimming and you can run 35s no lift.

Getting ready to do the same lift but don't want to get rid of my custom wheels, BS is 5.51" so I just added 1.5" hubcentric spacers. I'm going to run these spacers a month or so before the lift just to see if I can trust them, read so many second hand negative comments about spacers but only good 1st hand reviews if installed and maintained correctly. I like the look of the wider stance and the way the tires stick out just past the fenders now too.

I installed this lift with stock wheels and tires (Sahara 18in). It was recommended that the rear sway bar links be mounted inwards to allow for additional clearance. I did mount my links inboard, however it didn't really appear to add clearance due to the mounting stud on the lower.

I guess just be aware of this and check before bolting everything up.
