Default Lift Kit Advice

Hi Folks,

I am looking to put a 3" lift on my 4 door JK but I don't want to kill the way it currently rides with the stock suspension. It's my daily driver so I don't want to make it so stiff that I need a kidney belt? Can any of you recommend a lift kit that will do this for me?

Thanks in advance,

Big Mickey

I think my Fulltraction 3" rides smoother than stock with the M-Force shocks. read the modified threads, theres a ton of threads on this,

Most lifts will ride nearly as nice as stock, especially with taller sidewall tires. Spend extra for best quality lift and shocks and you will not be disappointed.

X2 The more complete the kit (control arms, track bars, etc.) the better your ride will be. Also run the correct tire pressure, not what the tire shop throws in there. They sent me home with 40psi, I'm now running about 27psi. Do the chaulk test.

The chalk test? Manufacturer recommends 37psi, why would you ride 10psi under that?

I'm running 26 psi on my 35's. It gets the full foot print of the tire on the ground

That is probably max load psi. Draw a chalk line on the driveway and run over it. If it doesnt show up on the entire tread surface, let some air out and repeat.

If you are runinning with the chaulk only in the middle you will have premature wear. Eventually it will all be flat once you wear the middle out. You might as well get it right from the start.
