Default Which lift kit do i need?

Its mostly a mall cruiser for the moment, still paying on it, just wondering for a daily driver, which lift kit do i need? I mean, i want 3-3.5 inches of lift, it seemed the black diamond kit got GREAT reviews in the recent issue of 4wd. But it doesnt seem to come with a track bar relocation bracket. Where can i get one? Or is there a solution to breaking the bracket. Also, it may see some mild 4 wheeling (Courses like camp jeep, etc) but mostly its street driven (and snow driven, come winter) What kit is the most complete and easiest to put on (under 1k please)

Also, im not sure if i want to run 33's or 35's.

I know about budget boosts, but i always have felt that spacers were a cheap way to get lift, and that i dont trust a small puck of ruber to hold my springs in, maybe metal ones.

as far as I read Black Diamond does have a rear relocation bracket and a front adjustable track bar (big plus) !! so far I think that would be my best option ,would it be a good idea to add adjustable control arms in the front ??Anybody?

It would be "good" to add as many componenets as financially possible to get the best ride and handling.

Are the control arms required for 3" of lift. I am putting on adjustable front track bar and BDS rear bracket to straighten things out. But do I need the control arms too?

personally if you want to do light wheeling and still fit the 33-35" but dont want to mod to much cause your still paying for it then why not get a simple 2.5" BB? You can fit 35" easily, thats what i run

Why? the factory trusts them enough to put them in there. Look under any stock JK, there are pucks in there already. a BB merely puts a taller one in there with the factory one.

If you want to stay under 1k with everything included in that price, then you are pretty limited and right in the BB ballpark.

^^^^^

Im guessing this is why rusty's lift is just two ADJ track bars, springs, and shocks?

yup, but bump stops should be added along with longer disco's if you go with that kit.
