Default Lift Kit Help

Hey all... I need some input so I am ready for any problems I may encounter.

I am getting a deal on a 2.5" coil lift for a 4-door (I am a 2-door). Since it is made for a 4-door I am expecting at least 3" of lift.

The problem is, I am still running stock tires with stock backspace. I have conflicting reports that I will have rubbing issues with my rear sway-bar links against the rubber sidewall... causing it to tear.

I have tried to search but can not come up with anything definate. I have been told that the wheel will not even turn, that I would only have rubbing at full flex, or that I would have no issues at all.

Anyone with some experience in this area that could chime in?

Thanks

with stock wheels, you will have the rubbing issues you have heard IF you mount your links on the outside as is the case stock. if you install them on the inside of the mounts, you should be okay.

Got ya... I was looking under my Jeep at lunch and could see where there might be an issue (trying to imagine 3" of lift).

I never thought (nor did anyone mention that I spoke to ) that flipping them around could help solve that problem.

Thanks WOL
