I am new to the jeep family and i want to get a lift kit for my 2012 jk i was lookin at a 4 inch lift from rough country but was told i might need new axels with that big of a lift ???plus the main problem i have is i dont know what i need (what an actual complete kit is) ? If someone could help me out by tellin me what i need or some links to kits that are 100% complete i would really appreciate it

If you run a 1.5" lift kit, you will have plenty of room for offroading. It will also look proportional at ride height.
My 2 1/2 inch suspension lift lifted my bare-bones to door at least 3 inches so remember that to! that's what I have 33's on my truck
And under full articulation I can still stuff my back tire into my stock flares I wouldn't want to be any lower

If you go any higher you're going to spend quite a bit more money. And my old boy off roads just fine . Can't imagine where I've ever need to go he wouldn't bring me

Driveshaft angle becomes too great therefore drive shafts too short. And when you lift the jeep it moves the axles . Too much lift the axles will be too far out of line. Adjustable control arms and track bars fix this
