Default lift kits

Help! I am thinking of adding some height to my 2008 JKU. 4 inch suspension lift but am undecided between the "stage 1" suspension lift kit from procomp or the suspension lift from rough country. Any feedback will be appreciated. Plus, I am planning on doing the install myself.

That's and easy question.... Go Rough Country

We are here to help with any questions. You might check out our 3.5" kit. I personally like the configuration and the N2.0 shocks better.

How big are your tires going to be? If you are going to run 35s, you probably won't need 4" of lift. The size of the tires determine the height of the lift.

At 4" you will start running into driveline and steering issues. IMO you would be better advised to consider a 3" or 3.5" lift and flat fenders.

Lift kits I would suggest would be

TeraFlex (I run this)
Northridge OME Long Travel Kit
Rock Krawler
Full Traction

4" rancho sport and rs9000xl shocks on 33"s. Very happy with the lift and shocks. Nice ride. Great price.$500 rebate going on.

3.5" Rubicon Express Standard kit. Under 600 usd. Fit 35's or 37's no problem. Bad ass look and ride. Quality parts imo.

RE is out of business/reorginizing right now. I would steer clear - replacement parts could be hard to come by if needed.

WOW. I just got this same kit like 3 months ago!! RE has been around for a long time. I had an XJ back in 97 with a 3" RE lift, loved it. WTF, hope I don't have any issues with it...They better "reorganize" asap.
