Default Lift kits

Does anyone have any input/opinions/thoughts on the Skiyjacker or Trail Blazer lift kits? I see a lot of you are running TerraFlex. I had a Skyjacker in an older Chevy pickup that was great. I'm not looking for anything crazy. Just a small lift to level it all out, give it a slightly better look/feel. Than maybe add some 33's or something.
Have to be careful of the 'wife' dun-dun-dun!

Thanks

I am anti-Skyjacker.... you can get SO MUCH MORE or a WAY BETTER lift kit/components for the price and it will last longer and make you a lot happier in the long run.

FWIW, steer clear of skycrapper.... but again, thats just my

oh, and I never even heard of the other brand....sorry

Sorry, meamt to type 'trail master'. Thanks for your I def. want the best bang for my buck. Don't want to spend too much. Like to keep it under $300. I've been out of 4x4 for a while and this is my 1st Jeep. (1st of many) Plan on getting my step-son a TJ when he gets in license in a few more years. Thats all he talks about.

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to give a little lift to your jeep and fit slighty bigger/more aggressive tires, a budget boost(coil spacers) would be ideal for you.

Teraflex, Rubicon Express, etc. any coil spacers in the 1.5-2" range would give you the look at the cheapest route.

I'd suggest the teraflex levelling kit plus some higher rated springs and shocks from a Rubicon. I went this route and netted 3" in front and 2" in back for less than $350.

for how little of a lift you're looking for, do yourself a favor and just get a leveling kit or small budget boost (coil spacers) at most and call it a day. if you go this route, it's pretty hard to go wrong with whatever company you choose to go with. anything taller than that (and you don't need it to just clear 33's) and, i would recommend spending more money on a quality lift kit.
