Default Lift kits

Hey everyone. Looking to do a lift kit in the near future. 4-5 inch. Mudding only. Also is my daily driver. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why 4-5"? What's your budget? What size tire are you wanting to run? Read the couple stickies at the top of the modified section. This question is asked on a weekly basis, so do a little searching and reading.

1. how much do you want to spend?

2. you really don't want to do 4 - 5", so many issues... will be very expensive to ever drive right.

Buy a $500 pick up for mudding. Why tear up a brand new jeep?

Sorry should have given bit more info. 2007 JK 2 door. Would rather have the lift done correctly than worry about budget. I can always save and do the right thing. Would not wNt to bigger than 37 inch tires.

Will also not be beat on. Just play. Not going out to bury it. We only have mud jams around here. No hills or rock climbing

So are you stuck on 4"-5" of lift? You can fit 37s with a 2.5" - 3" lift with flat fenders and correct offset wheels/spacers. Of course you'd be sacrificing articulation, etc. but since we have 0 rocks in Florida, wouldn't be much of an issue if you just want to play in the mud. Might want to consider re-gearing if you go 37s with that 3.8 as well.

No, not stuck on a 4-5 in lift. I'm not sure if I like the flat fenders. Have just seen pics. Not many guys around here run them. And yes I would go with lower gears. Really no highway driving. Just around town. Has a stick so I figured 5:13 or 5:38 would work well

Rough country 3.5" lift with dual steering stabilizer up front and 35s. Goes down the road nice and smooth, I'd say smoother than stock, works great in the mud and you don't need those flat fenders. Plus with 35s it's not that noticeable difference in power and fuel economy(still getting 20mpg +)
