Default Which lift / leveling kit?

Ok Jeepers, I need your knowledge. I have a 2011 Rubicon Unlimited. I am planning on purchasing Ranch Hand front and rear bumper and adding a Warn Power Plant. I know the winch weighs 100lbs. Not sure about the bumpers. Here's the question:

What lift kit or leveling kit can I get that will handle this added weight?

I am currently looking at the Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit. I don't want to lift it to the point that I need to change anything with the drivetrain. I just want a bit of a lift that can handle the added weight.

So guys and gals, what do you recommend and why?

Thanks and Cheers!

the leveling kit or even the tf budget boost would be fine. if your not going to go bigger tires then i would probably just go for the leveling kit to raise your front end back up to where it should be with the added weight of the bumper/winch.

x2

Install the bumpers and winch and see how much it needs to be lifted. Typically, you lose somewhere around .5" w/ a bumper/winch, maybe a bit more with the powerplant.

I ran the daystar spacers, 1 3/4" front, 3/4" rear and was very pleased. Although, I didn't run it with bumpers/winch, it eliminated the factory rake and made the front sit slightly higher than the rear, which I liked. With that setup, you'd probably sit pretty level.

If you're looking to run 33's down the road, the TF 2.5" BB seems to get a lot of good reviews.

With that much weight, you want coils, not spacers. Find out what it all weighs, then PM the TF folks and get their opinion on how much actual lift you should expect to gain with the leveling coils.

Forgot about the leveling coils.

Another vote for TF Performance Leveling Kit (https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ex+performance). Regular leveling kit or budget boost, and you'll end up with sagging springs over time.

If I were in your shoes I'd go with the TF Performance Leveling kit (that's the spring kit). That way if you should start to sag at all, you can add a spacer.

Default Thanks Guys!

It sounds like TF is the best option. I will get the weight of the bumpers from Ranch Hand and then call TF. Coils or spacers? Let's see what the TF guys say.

Now, if I go up to the 2.5" I won't have to change anything underneath, right? Except maybe the QD links.

Thanks again guys.

Agree.... or install all items then eval... my guess would be from level kit only..

Total weight is about 220 for the new bumper and winch. Current plan is to mount mods and then measure. Thanks again for the help guys.

Cheers
