Default lift problem need help

alright,so i installed my terraflex bb last night. here is the problem, the rear sway bar links seem to be too long. i read some posts that said the bb in the past came with drop brackets and now they come with links. they are so long that when i attatch the sway bar they hit the rim, on the driver side. do i need to center something or are they too long? i cannot take a pic right now but will if need be. right now i am running with the sway bar disconnected. thanks in advance

ATTENTION: For people who will be keeping their factory wheels, you will need to install your rear sway bar links on the inside as shown in the photos below. This is required because the back spacing on the factory wheels will cause your wheel weights and/or wheels themselves to rub on the upper link bolts.
Here is a note at the end of the FT Economy lift write-up. My wheels rubbed too, so I put the links on the inside. Once I upgraded my wheels I switch them back.

Hope that helps.

My wheels were the stock 17 Rubi wheels. The links rubbed right around the outer edge.

Are you using wheel spacers?

i am running the stock wheels and tires right now, from the looks of it i am getting wheels and tires sooner than later. i am in the process of getting spacer, i would think that would take care of it? i am suprised the instructions don't explain this though. other than that the lift was fairly easy to install. is there any problem running with the rear sway bar disconnected for a while?
thanks for all the help

The first set of links that came with my Teraflex 3" kit were WAY too long, rubbing the sidewalls of my tires even with the wheel spacers. They sent me a 2nd set which put the upper end of the link right around the wheel lip, which has wirked fine. There shouldn't be a problem with running your rear swaybar disconnected for a short period of time as long as you remember to drive accordingly (no racing!). Good luck.

We just moved them to the inside. Worked fine on our Rubicon.
