Default Lift Question

I've spent about 3 hours reading through searched threads, and still I have questions...so I apologize in advance if any of this has been covered and I simply did not see it.

My birthday is coming up, and my wife has told me she'd like to pay for my lift kit as a present. (My wife is awesome, BTW.)

I've been reading and reading about lift kits, and it's enough to make your head swim. I am not new to Jeeps, but I am VERY new to lifting Jeeps. My previous vehicles all rode on a stock suspension. Before I get to questions, I'll provide as much information as I can about what my uses are:

-This Jeep is my only vehicle, and I use it as a daily driver, so I'm only looking at putting 33" tires on it. (Specifically Nitto Terra Grapplers; 285/70/17)
-I love the stock ride. It's much better than any Jeep I've owned, and quite a bit better than my last truck as well, so I'd like to do all that I can in order to retain the stock ride.
-I don't "wheel" just to go wheeling, rather, I "wheel" when I head to camping and hunting spots. So I use my Jeep more as a way to get from A to B overland rather than crawling over rocks.

Keeping all that in mind, these are the kits I'm looking into (in no particular order):

-Teraflex Leveling Kit
-Teraflex 2.5" BB
-AEV 2" BB

I understand these are not coil lifts, but since I have a Rubicon, I thought it would be better to keep the stock coils for now and maybe upgrade to a 2.5" coil lift a few years down the road when these wear out. Is the BB is going to screw my ride quality up to the point that I would have wished I'd gone with coils?

I'm really trying to do this right the first time without going too extreme, and I humbly ask for advice, especially from those who have experience running the BB vs. the coil lift.

Thank you.

I'm in the same boat as you. but I might just get the 1" rear and 2" front spacer kit from teraflex for $130.

Go with the 2.5" Teraflex BB. It will give you plenty of extra clearance for 33" tires as well as give you some more room to articulate when needed.

as mentioned, it's hard to go wrong with the TF BB.

Thanks for the responses so far.

The TF is about $330 and the AEV is about $230. Other than the extra .5", what is the difference in the two?

Another thing to consider is our 2" SPORT, comes with coils AND new adjustable shocks.
