Lift question??
Got to thinking the other day and was wondering about drive shaft angles with a lift. I bought a X with the little 29s on it and have since converted to 35s. That being said the tires alone should have lifted the jeep 3" correct? The I decided to add a BD 3" suspension lift. With the lift adding 3" to suspension and the tires adding 3" to the axle wouldn't the angles be pretty close to the same as stock if not the same?
Also I have pro comp Xterains and was wondering about a spare tire. If I get a xterain spare and they are directional tires, would it hurt if I got a flat to put the tire on and have it running the wrong direction? Just a few thoughts to ponder?

The tires wont change anything at all as far as drive line angles go. The 3" suspention will change it but from what I have read you are ok up to 3". It's 3.5" and up that you have to start considering driveline angles. I'm sure others will help with this as I am NOT an expert. I just play one on JK Forum

Yeah, you have less room to work with in the 2 door. I think 2.5 inches is the MAX you'd want to keep everything stock.... but I'm known to be wrong.
As far as angles go... Like said above, those ~3"s gained by the tire mean nothing. All you have effectively done is raised your pumpkin ~3" of the ground. Nothing more to it, really.
