Default lift question

i have a 4 inch rough country lift and i want to put 6 inch procomp coil springs on. would i need to put a long arm kit on or would the stock control arms work and also would the rough country shocks be long enough? and i know i would need a new front drive shaft but would i need a new rear one too?

i think you are gonna need a whole new kit but why you wanting 6"

37's will clear in a 4" lift if thats where you're headed. if yourealy want a 6" lift, you might as well buy the L/A kit and get it over with

6" of lift is a lot of lift and while it can be done with short arms, you might want to consider going long arm at this point and time. at the very least, you will want new longer shocks, taller bump stops, and adjustable front and rear track bar, longer brake lines, adjustable control arms front and rear and you will definitely need new drive shafts.

actually, the rough country 4" lift is a true 4" lift and 37's will not fit it. to clear 37's, you need closer to 6" lift in order to do it without any rubbing issues.

Actually you can do it with a 4" lift, IF you go with Xenon flares and a 1" BL. A whole lot less money than a 6" LA.

oh, i agree. hell, i would even argue that you don't need to drop the cash on a set of xenon flares when you can just chop your factory fenders for free.

6" of lift is a whole lot of lift. IMO that is too much for a short arm. Why not do things the right way?
