Lift questions
Hey folks I've been searching, researching, studying, and before somebody says SEARCH before asking, I HAVE SEARCHED, so now that that's out of the way I've got a few questions if somebody could answer I would appreciate it.
I'm considering the following lift kits, Tereflex 2 1/2" BB, FT 3" economy or superlift 4"
I doubt if I'll go to a tire larger than 33", my rubicon already has 32", I know from experience larger tires means regearing, I don't want the headache and expense.
1. Would the 3" or 4" lift be to much with 32" or 33" tires - i.e. look bad ??
2. With the Teraflex BB you can get shock mounts for factory shocks or new longer shocks, would the longer shocks allow for more articulation?
3. Would the 3" or 4" lifts mentioned above give more articulation than the Teraflex BB.
Something I've learned from all of my research is that even with the Teraflex BB the axles are off center after the lift, that would probably drive me crazy even if it weren't noticeable, just because I know it, therefore I would probably go ahead and get adjustable track bars both front and back to correct that problem, whether it's a problem or not, to me off center isn't right.

if you only put 33", then go with tera 2.5" bb, and save your money for other mods. That will give you plenty of room for full flexing (even with sway disconnected). However, if you're thinking of going with larger tires in the future, then go with FT 3" kit
As far as axle not centered, the most minimal lift will still make your axle not centered... it's just the nature of the suspension. It can be remedied by getting an adjustable front and rear trackbar. With 2.5" BB, it shouldn't be that noticable

I agree with bim6180. To run 33's, go with the TeraFlex 2.5" BB and use the shock mounts that come with the kit. With the money saved, for sure get a front adjustable track bar, and rear adjustable track bar (although a rear relocation bracket would correct the off-center issue.)

Go 2.5 or get 35's, even my 35's look a "tiny" bit small. They will be 36's when time to swap out
