Seems like TF responded quickly to all of these aswell, their response...

"PM your name/address and I'll send u a replacment"

ALL companies will and do have minor probs as kits come out, and TF seems to address those quickly. And YES, I do know how to use the search feature. Who's stroking the vendor for parts? I searched vendor stroking , nuthin comes up.

Maybe try "replacement" in the search that seems to be a key word in their posts. It would be better if they didn't need to replace their product. That's why I say R.E. buy it and wheel it.
Hmm, well your entitled to your opinion. Not strokin or blowin her dude. Infact, my lift consists of various parts from different companies, RE included. BTW, do you have the RE quick disco's ? Friend of mine is having probs with those.

I do have the RE discos, but I just don't disconnect them!! That being said, if I did manually disco, I'd probably pick up some JKS.

Stroking vendors... hilarious...

You guys are very entertaining to listen to but on a more serious note, my springs haven't sagged but I'm not running much weight. Those that I know that are, haven't really had any sagging issues at all.

Write the names down, throw them in a hat, then pick one.

The need for new driveshafts is due to lift height, not brand. You are just as likely blow a driveshaft with any other 3.5" kit as with the RK 3.5. Look into the 'actual' lift heights to give a better comparison.

Suggestions from the faq's...

Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?
A: At bare minimum, you should have a set of 3" coils, bump stop extensions, longer shocks, rear brake line extension brackets, new longer rear sway bar links (factory links can be installed up front), adjustable front track bar and rear track bar relocation bracket. Optimally, I would recommend adjustable front upper and lower control arms as well as they will help you set your caster to the appropriate angle it needs to be. Also, if you have a 2-door, adjustable rear upper control arms and a new double cardin U-joint style drive shaft would be highly advisable.

Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 4" lift?
A: For a 4" lift, you should have a set of 4" coils, bump stop extensions, longer shocks, extended brake lines, longer sway bar links, adjustable front track bar, adjustable rear track bar, front and rear track bar relocation brackets, dropped pitman arm, adjustable upper and lower control arms front and rear and new double cardin u-joint style drive shafts.
It may also be a good idea to do some trimming on the crossmember/skid, replace the metal band with a zip tie, lower the crossmember, etc...

I would guess I'm bothered most by those who don't own a R.E. lift but rather just read it online and want to up their post tally by their 2-cents, maybe to go from a JK newbie to a JK God. For the owners of a R.E. lift with issues it's good to hear the problem, but those posts are rare. It's a popular lift in this area without problems.
I understand, RE does get hammered, or looked over alot of the time. So do others. The disco's I was talking about are the one's that swing up and mount on a perch, kinda like the TF one. He had a prob with getting them to mount, that was easiley solved with a little grinding on the frame. And came damn close to ripping a new 37intire on that perch on both dr and passenger side. Basically the same prob TF had when they came out with theirs. He's got 4.5 backspace, he's either gonna have to run wheel spacers in the front or go with another disco. I will have to agree that the RE springs are beefy as hell, as are all the components on their longarm. I think the RE bushing prob ended up being a manf problem that affected a few companies, not just RE.

I am pissed. As much money as I have spent on Jeep stuff over the years and I have yet to be stroked by a vendor. Am I doing something wrong?

um, well yeah, you have a 3.5" short arm kit and they don't have any bushing issues or, not that i know of anyway. with the exception of not coming with any adjustable lower control arms, it's a good kit.

There is constantly someone stroking the sponsoring vendor on here for parts.
care to elaborate on this?
