Big question, im lifting my jeep next month. Now im almost 6' . My wife is 5'6". Now will a Rubicon express 3.5 on 35's be to big for her? Now i do have the more steps on it. Or should i stick with a 2.5? I plan on keeping the jeep for a long time. Thanks

Go 3.5 or you'll regret it one day. I'm just shy of 6'3" and the wife is 5'7". No issues getting in. My 10 and twin 8'yesrnilds can get in just fine. Granted, I'm on 33s but the lift hasn't settled yet and is about 4".

Yeah I thought about 2.5 for a while and them I only went 3. I still wish I went bigger. Easier to just go big instead of changing it out later and losing money

I'm at 3" now and going to add 1/2 coil spacers. But I also have bumpers and winch... With no added weight, I would go 3".

One thing to keep in mind, 3" is the limit before you really start changing suspension geometry and have to mess with drive shafts. I have no complaints with my 2.5" BB and 35's. Cut flares and no rubbing. Low COG comes in handy some times. Going higher is only gonna lift you belly a little more. I say keep it low and let the skid plates do their job

Naw...especially not with an unlimited. It's a freaking bus. A grand Cherokee has a better breakover. High centered is high centered.

The extra inch truly makes a difference.

Okay - I have a bit of experience on this one.
My wife is 5'3" and I have a 3" lift. Actually 3 and a quarter inch lift.
I run 35's in the summer and stock 31's in the winter.
She can get in with a small hop in the summer but not her favorite. She can get in with just lifting herself in during the winter. Biggest complaint is the dirt stripe on the back of her legs when getting out of the Jeep. Summer or Winter but especially winter.
I have a Rubi so the rock rail is close to the body. Still, I am 6'4" and have no real issue.
Please remember we are obese according to the charts and we are now considered Seniors. hahahaha
Enjoy - stay safe.
