Default Lift and tires question

alright guys i know you have all heard these same qusetions before but let me tell you i have 0% experience in jeeps and lift's etc. but i want to get an estimate on my price.

Here's what iam wanting.

KMC Rockstar Rims 18inch
35inch tires... I can get a huge discount for any type of Firestone tire. maybe some type of all terrian. need some advice on the tire to choose.
And finally the lift i have no idea about this sorry. but i just want a smooth ride on the road mainly.probably about 30% off-road. if its an expensive lift to get it right then ill pay for it. if im going to do it ill do it right. just need some info from some experienced owners.

any extra things i need to look into buying ?

Thank you all

If you are really starting from scratch you need to understand how one modification such adding lift or tires can trigger a series of other required modifications to end up with a reliable Jeep with good on and off road characteristics.

Start by reading the information in the FAQ of this sub-forum and decide how much lift you want to fit your 35" tires and if there is a possibility you will want larger tires in the future.

If you have the budget go with a coil lift vs a spacer lift (BB) and go with a quality lift.
