Default lift and tow question

I am thinking of getting a 2-3 inch lift for my 4 door x. It is an 07, so I have the 4.10 gears, correct? We have a camper approx. 3300 lbs that we tow without any problems now, but will a lift and maybe 33's decrease my towing ability?

What do you all think?

maybe ever so slightly but not really noticable. if you were running 35's, you would definitely see a difference in your towing ability.

I'm running the same set up as you want. You won't notice much difference at all on the low end but hwy speed of 65+ you will. But, I don't tow my boat faster than that anyway.

Unless you have the tow package, you have 3.21 gears.

All 07 autos have 4.10's. And all 07's had the option to get 4.10's.
