Default Lift Upgrade

I currently have a 2.5" TF coil lift and am thinking of puting on 3.5" clayton coils to make this setup work for only driving around town what else would I need.

I think all I need is lower control arms is that right?

You might need to start thinking about new driveshafts too. Seen a 4" lift ran without replacing but for him I think it is just a matter of time.

Yes for the adj front lower arms. You will need to increase the caster at min. 5 deg

Just put these springs on, replaced my Rough Country Springs. What a difference, much more enjoyable of a ride. Looking for arms now, havent replaced yet. But definetly need too.

If you haven't bought them yet. I saw a set of new ones for sales on Craigslist in Philly.

x2 what he said. I got over 4" lift from my Clayton 3.5" kit when it was first installed. I ripped the d/s boot first time out on the granny-tranny bolt.

The jeep didn't weigh as much then as it does now, but it was still quite a bit heavier than stock. I had the front bumper, winch, sliders, body armor. The rear rack/bumper has been added since then, so I may be back down under 4".

So basically if i swap out my 2.5" tf springs for the 3.5" clayton springs i will also have to buy:

1. Adj. Front lower control arms
2. Front drive shaft
3. adj rear uppers control arms

I do want to wheel my jeep Im happy with the 2.5" tf lift but just wanted alittle more height maybe a 1" body lift well do the trick. I didnt really want to buy a new drive shaft and all the control arms 150 for a body lift is alittle easier to spend right now. Since I plan on regearing in 2 months.

It's in the parts section. Here is the sellers email: sale-pfrr3-1465281347@craigslist.org

BTW, I am no way associated with the seller. I have just be monitoring the market in search of some Clayton parts to compliment my build.
