Default Lifted Jeep, newborn baby, car seat, wife... question for you guy/girls..

We now have a 1 month old. Jeep is lifted 4inches with 35s. I installed AMP research steps to help my wife get in and out of the Jeep easier. The problem is she is struggling getting the baby with the car seat in and out of the Jeep. My wife is 5'4 is. Im thinking maybe try a different "smaller" less bulky baby seat too see if that will help.. For those of you that have had babies , what baby seat did you use. Was it easy for a female to get in and out of a lifted Jeep? I would really hate to have to put the Jeep back to stock(not sure if that would help either.)

I have 3 kids and my jeep is lifted 4.5" on 37". When the kids go in the jeep, which is kind of rare, I put them in. Is the jeep your wife's dd?

Don't recall what brand it was, but the base stayed in the Jeep all the time. The carrier just snapped into the base. It came with a stroller too. And would snap into it also. Didn't have to disturb the little booger while traveling. Just released the carrier from the base, snap it onto the stroller, or vice versa, and off we'd go. So it was matter of seconds for the wife to put the baby in or take him out of the jeep. She is 5'2" but we didn't have a lift like you. But I see no reason why this wouldn't work well for ya with the amp boards. Good luck!

If the height becomes a real issue, try a "smaller lift". I've been running 35's on an OMe 2" lift since 2008. No issue or drama. I have to help the 5y.o. into the Jeep, but the Poison Spyder rock rails give him something to put his feet on while navigating to the back seat.

Go find a good used mazda 5. The best family car on the road. We love ours. Great match for the jeep.
