Lifted jk diff fluid change
I have been reading up alot about changing the differential fluid yourself. But I have run into a question that has not been answered by anyone yet.
1. How do you get the proper amount in a differential that is lifted above stock that has the stock diff cover, I was thinking of parking on an incline or somthing?
2. Do you need to change the amount of fluid in the diff of a lifted vehicle?

I think wa he is worried about is the pinion angle as you lift ur jeep in afect you supose to adjust you pinion angle to get you gearbox output shafts in line, but if you have done this i wouldn't worry about the fluid level just fill it as normal the amount of oil that is not going in is that small i wouldn't even worry, and parking your jeep on a hill to change your oil to try and get it at the right hight would only be silly
LOL
ok i didn't no looks pretty flat what is there to with yout jeep there like by the looks of it a stock 2wd jk could go there no offenence, or anything i'm guess there would have to be some good mud holes...

LOL didnt know many people even knew were lubbock was let alone that it was flat. It is very exciting when the wind does go under 5mph here, no wonder wind energy is so popular here. But yes there are a few mud holes that are not to far of a drive for some decent trails with all the necessary inclines. I was just curious as to the lift may have effected the amount that a stock diff cover would allow.
