If I buy a new wrangler, can I reuse the kit off my current wrangler?

I know I getting a used spacer lift off my buddy's jeep and know slit if people do long as it fits both jeeps.

If its a full bolt on kit, sure. if you had to cut crap off your jeep to fit it, nope. because then your other jeep would be missing critical parts.
