I went with the garage build RC 2 1/2 inch with the 2.2 performance shocks. I like it for a daily driver and even though i rub on the trail more than a 3 or 4 inch lifted jeep would, i still go most everywhere i wan with 33's on it.......There is no angle issue with the drive shafts and like i said easy to do yourself......

Have to agree, that's the first post I have seen with praise for rusty's lifts... Except maybe the TV show Gearz.

I saw so many bad posts I changed my mind about going with them, obviously this is just things I read, but it was enough for me to change my mind.

Oh and OP, you can go inexpensive but once you get a nice little lift and throw on some adjustable LCA's your drive is so much better, back to stock steering. I thought my RC 2.5" BB was great, till I switched to the OME HD long travel kit, night and day! But going with an inexpensive lift like the RC isn't that bad, it's like renting a lift it's so inexpensive.

And I got some great flex out of that kit, I ran it for about 6 months and was worth every penny.

But you do get more flex with a full lift.

With no bumpstops and cut fenders this was just about perfect for no rubbing. (RC 2.5 Basic BB)

If Rusty's stuff is so bad than how are they still in business?? There have been many good reviews on their products, including myself. Every manufacturer will have issues at some point. Until Rusty's disappoints me I will continue to recommend their products

Make it the second post( in this thread) for the Rusty's lift that its an awesome suspension. That's the real world compliment from street and trail.

RC I have run on 3 other rigs and have no complaints. I also have run Teraflex and have their parts too.

A lot of good suspensions so good luck.
