Limp mode
I recently went from a 2.5 inch pro comp lift with 33's, to. Metal cloak 3.5 with 35's. I took it out last weekend for some light wheeling. On my way home the anti skid light came on. Now I have no cruise control, no brake assist, nothing. I am assuming my Jeep went to limp mode? I tuned it back to stock and disconnected battery and no luck. Suggestions?

Was the track bar replaced with lift? Sounds like the front end geometry is slightly out of whack. if the steering is not "Center" the Jeep will throw symptoms like you have. Its a 2 part deal. make sure A: the axle is center under the Jeep under the weight of the Jeep and adjust with adjustable track bar (If adjustable) and B: Simple tie rod drag link adjustment to center steering. Easy to do in one turn encrements , test , turn , test etc or go to a shop and "align" it.
Yes, on the trackbar. The steering wheel is not center, and ill have to check the axels. I had this all installed at a local place. Was their 1st metal cloak install. Might need some adjustments.
If the ESP/ABS lights are on constantly, it is likely cable related. Check all front and rear cables and make sure they are plugged in and there is no damage. There should be one going to each wheel. It would be easier to isolate if you could use a scanner like a superchips, but not with a 2012.... It is possible one was damage or unplugged when installing the lift and/or while wheeling. It is not uncommon for them to be accidentally ripped out.
FYI, limp mode, or Torque Request Denied (TRD) is a lightning bolt shaped red light on the dash. The jeep wont move in that mode, and the engine will almost always stumble and studder as the computer tries to prevent the operatior from iducing what it thinks is damage.

Thanks for the info. I dont have the lightning bolt symbol, its the anti skid i think (stability control). I can drive it, so i guess its not in limp mode. Hmmm im dropping it at the place that did the install and have them double check everything.
Park your Jeep on flat ground with the wheels straight. Tie or wrap a piece of tape around the steering wheel top center of the wheel. Then loosen the two bolts on your drag link and make adjustments. Once you think your close to center take it for a drive if its not close just repeat the process till its good.

I took it back to installer with info you all gave me. All lights are off, my baby is back!! It was all due to the steering wheel being off. I had no clue that could be the problem. Thanks for the help!!!
