Default Linexed the jeep

I linexed the jeep. My mats slide on it now. Any one have any suggestions to keep them in place? I have the jeep slush mats.

That was always my fear of doing the interior. Anyway to fasten a hook to the floorboard like they have in the factory carpet? Maybe even a nutsert and a nice flat headed black screw. I would need mats and sliding around is dangerous.

I ditched the mats after Line-Xing mine. I would recommend using some Velcro tape or 3M Commamd, maybe rubber cement or epoxy to the Line-X.

I've thought about this before. The problem I have is they always slide forward, so I was thinking some sort of fabric strap attached to the seat mount or seat frame. This would keep them from sliding forward.

Assuming you didn't want to just drill and insert some kind of post into the floorboard.

No drilling. Would like to take the path of least resistance. Think tape might work. It just slides up. It's not a big deal. Minor inconvenience. I was also wondering whether other matts like weathertech or maybe quadratecs matts are bigger and cover more area thus don't slide.

Thanks.

Use a snap in the two back corners. My boat has this on the mats and it works great.

I'd probably go with weathertech or similar matts. That way they are fitted and shouldn't slide around.

I have had luck with the sliding mat issue by stringing some beads of silicone on the back of the mats, letting that dry, then reinstalling.

The silicone provides a grippy rubber interface between the slick plastic mat and the floor surface
