Default A Little Help For My Build.

Ok so we bought our 2013 Billet Silver JKU Sport in Aug 2013. Like everyone else I've poured through the threads and overloaded myself with information. My goal is an long trip expedition type capable of handling tough rocks if necessary.

So ordered GY Duratracs 315/70/17 from Discount Tire Direct. Let me first say that as far as price and service they can't be beat. RJ beat a end of March price from a competitor that I thought could not be beaten and I had the tires at my doorstep the next day.

Got my Black Satin Rugged Ridge wheels the next day.

They look great.

Went with the Metalcloak Arb Dual rate 3.5 inch lift. Still waiting on that one.

I need advice on everything else I need to install this lift successfully in 2 days. I've got all the tools including air tools if needed. Just need to buy a 1/2 inch torque wrench.

I need higher jack stands. Is one jack enough?

Also know I need to address the exhaust issue, what are your recommendations.

Money is an object but if it's necessary we can get it.

Anything else I'm missing or any install or get ready tips are appreciated.

1. I would get at least two 6 ton jack stands ( harbor freight )
2. Have you thought about your drive shafts with that amount of lift ( especially FR DS )
3. What back spacing are your wheels ? Are you going to need wheel spacers ?
4. Does that lift come with adjustable CA's and drag link flip ( high steer kit ) ?

Wheels are 4.75 inch backspace. Only front uppers come with this kit. Intention is to add the remaining control arms as budget allows. I'll see how it handles, maybe go with control arm brackets if necessary for the interim.

Yeah I went back and forth on the height a driveshaft I can do when necessary. If I remember right seems I read somewhere that metalcloak says it's not necessary.

Got to get a coupon for Harbor Freight.
