Default A little help with my jeep

Please help. I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that I am looking to put 33's on. I am thinking I need to put on a Tera-Flex 1.5 leveling kit and want to add wheel spacers to push the tires out from the fenders a bit. With this set up what is the best tire and rim size? I do want to keep the rim size 17".

Go check out Discount Tire Direct, they seem to have the best deals around and have top notch customer service. As for best tire, well that is completely up to what your looking for.

A leveling kit is perfect for 33's.

If you keep the OEM wheels you will want a set of spacers (SpiderTrax adapters or similar)

If you go with aftermarket wheels you wont need the spacers as long as you get correct backspacing.

Wheel size is a huge debate among the JK community. 17" seems to be the most popular choice.

Do a quick search for "will it rub"...lots of good info on wheels, tires and lifts.

Here is my 2011 with a 3.5" rubicon express kit. I put the 33's on it and I needed a 1.5" wheel spacer to clear the rear wheels. The sway bar on the rear would hit the tire and you wouldn't be able to put the tire on at all.

Also here's what it looked like with stock 17's and wheels. Still needed the spacers to clear the kit and tires.
