Default Lizard skin instead of LineX?

I was wondering if anyone has used lizard skin on the interior floor instead of LineX or other similar products? I've seen several people ask about it in my research but i haven't found anyone that has actually used it. Would the lizard skin have the same durability/cleanability as the LineX? I'm looking for something that is more of a DIY product so i don't have to pay the extra money to have someone spray it for me, plus the lizard skin is mainly for heat shield/sound deadening so i was thinking maybe it woudl keep heat and road noise out a little better than the other products.

I don't THINK lizardskin is going to do much in the way of protection for you. As I understand it, it's mainly for sound deadening and heat reduction. I can't remember if it was this forum or another popular jeep forum that I was reading (maybe both) but I know some folks have had REALLY good results with a product called Raptorliner. It's a DIY kit that comes with the spray gun for your air compressor. Those that did the proper prep have had some great results. As soon as I get a compressor, this is the kit that I'm going to go with for my '09 2 door and my wife's '11 JKU. The kit is around $125-150 if I recall correctly. The stuff is supposed to be superior to most of the other DIY bedliners on the market and the results I saw posted affirmed that. I don't know as I really don't have first hand knowledge of either product, but hopefully soon I will!

Others on here will have a LOT more knowledge on the subject than I do so I'd listen to them if I were you.

I've seen where it's mainly used for under a vehicle so i figured that durability wise it should be ok for an interior, I'm also wondering about cleanability. I'll either use this or herculiner since i don't have a compressor to spray on anything
