Default Locker may be toast--replacement choices??

My rear locker may be toast (long story short--trying to climb some sandy hills (notice I said sandy hills not Sandy Hill- heard a pop- won't lock-now at the stealership). I took the rear diff off and looked around--no big chunks of metal or anything, but some very small stuff floating around. If the stealership doesn't warranty--what are my choices? Seems like ARB's are nearly indestructable, but they don't have any yet for the Rubi 44's. Can you leave a broken locker in or will it cause my ring and pinion gears to go bad?

No locker mod, and indeed I was testing it out to transverse a small ravine to pick up my old poor grandma to take her to church.

Whats funny is that these lockers are supposedly stronger than ones in the TJ's (read lots of post about Jeepers breaking those) and I wasn't really hammering my heap that bad when I think it broke.

I bet if you talked to the right people at ARB you get find something to work. But if the dealer will warranty it, problem solved, for now.

Well, at first I thought it was the dog clutch as it had been giving me a lot of trouble prior to my locker breaking. But, after the break, I opened up my diff to check things out and everything looke okay with it. Upon phyical inspection, it was clear that something internal was broken. What specifically it was, I don't know as the dealer just replaced the whole unit. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help.

Unfortunately, these seem to be as weak as the TJ Rubicon lockers. The only difference is that these are electrically operated and not air.
