Go lunchbox style, should be all you need and you can get them for less than $200!

If you are on a tight budget, go with a aussie locker or lockright, if you can spend a little more $, I would suggest a detroit (for the rear).

Lunchbox replaces the spider gears in your open carrier. A Detroit replaces the entire carrier itself. They both work very similar in being locked 100% of the time under load and can unlock when load is not present.

I'm personally going Detroits front and rear.

On a budget and looking for improved traction via possible locker? Why not consider a lunchbox as mentioned above in the front? That will improve your offroad traction alot, plus very budget minded.
A cheaper alternative to those expensive lockers is also an Auburn Ected if your really wanted to get locked in the rear. Uses an electro maget to actuate, just hook it up to your electrical and engage when needed....only draw back is it is a clutch style system which will one day wear out....I just don't know when

your a DIY kinda guy? ME TOO
It isnt that bad to install....you will need to drill out the ring gear mounting holes to half inch in order to be able to mount the ring gear to it, for that you will need a nice half inch drill bit and a drill press.....from there it just requies that your able to pull your old carrier assembly out, swap the gear and bearings and throw the new unit in...if your just doing the unit swap then there should be absolutely no requirement to adjust shims or anything providing you put the shims back in the appropriate spot, the mesh between ring and pinion should remain unchanged. You will just need basic tools and either new carrier bearings, or the ability to pull your old ones off and press them onto the new one...if you dont have a press or bearing splitter, a driveline shop should be kind enough to help you out on that small part I would hope
